This 1,806 square foot, three-bedroom, two-bath, hybrid timber frame is one of my favourites. It has a great feel to it, right from the moment you pull into the driveway. With two covered entryways and some depth and elevation changes in the rooflines, the curb appeal of this home is really eye-catching.

As you walk through the entryway, natural light floods the great room, highlighting the natural wood beams and 20-foot vaulted timber ceiling. With large windows in every possible location, this home was designed to bring the outside in, and take advantage of views from multiple angles.

A very spacious living area, with a built-in entertainment unit, and a wood-burning fireplace, makes you want to spend time here. Whether enjoying time with your family or hosting a dinner with friends, this home is suited perfectly for both.

The kitchen is designed to fit all of your needs – with an eat-in island, which has plenty of space to prep and serve food, this space is great for serving kids breakfast or entertaining guests. The window above the sink is just one more place where you can soak in a view of this house.

The adjacent dining room sits in front of the tallest window in the house. With a high-built timber ceiling above this area, it gives an open feel to the room, while providing as much natural light as possible.

The master bedroom is very spacious, with lots of natural light from the large window looking out into the backyard. With a 4 piece ensuite bath and a large walk-in closet, you won’t be short on space in this room.

Moving over to the other side of the home, we have a spacious mudroom with optional main floor laundry. The stairs are located here as well, to provide easy access when coming from the garage and wanting access right into the basement.

The garage is an oversized double to allow extra room for storage, while still allowing space enough for two vehicles. It’s built at a 45-degree angle to the home, adding another dimension to the curb appeal.

The last, and one of the most important things to note about this and all of our other plans, is that these designs are simply meant to give you ideas for a starting point. Every home we build has its own custom plan, and we never build the exact same house twice.
